Although the widely acclaimed tafsir of Ibn Kathir has been translated, in an abridged format, in English, this hardback volume is the first English translation of Ibn Kathir's tafsir that has not been abridged by its translator.

The translator here chose to translate all of Ibn Kathir's work (on the selected surahs), including those ahadith found to be weaker in status. (Footnotes on each page identify the strength or weakness of the hadith mentioned).

This volume contains the complete tafsir of Surahs Hud & Yusuf (up to Verse 53 for Yusuf), directly translated from the original Arabic.
