The North American magazine publication, the Islamic Horizons is part of:

The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), a product of the resolve of the Muslims in North America to live an Islamic way of life. In keeping with its charter, ISNA works for the pleasure of Allah (Subhanahu wa Taala) to advance the cause of Islam and Muslims in North America. ISNA activities include support for better schools, stronger outreach programs, organized community centers, and other Islamic programs. ISNA serves to help foster unity among Muslims, which is vital to an Islamic way of life.

ISNA is an association of Muslim organizations and individuals that provides a common platform for presenting Islam, supporting Muslim communities, developing educational, social and outreach programs and fostering good relations with other religious communities, and civic and service organizations.

Message from the Secretary General:
"Whenever Muslims have worked together, they have accomplished great things. We saw the practical manifestation of this unity when the Muslim community in Chicago was able to organize a large national convention by working together. I invite you to join the national fraternity of communities through the ISNA network. Your membership with ISNA will prove an asset to you, your family and your community. In becoming a part of the ISNA family, you will be able to contribute more meaningfully to the enrichment of the National Ummah. We appreciate all your support in the past and need your support for all of our special projects. Our members are of utmost importance to us.

Dr. Sayyid M. Syeed, Secretary General, ISNA
