About Hygienna: improving quality of life, one squeeze at a time
The Hygienna Solo
The Hygienna Solo is a discreet nozzle that transforms plastic water bottles into a personal and portable hygiene device or bidet. With a simple squeeze of the bottle, you can obtain a superior cleaning experience anywhere and anytime.
The Hygienna Solo was designed by aerospace engineers and award-winning artists, resulting in the highest level of functionality and quality, without compromising form and aesthetics. Weighing only 15 grams and measuring 3” in height and less then 1” in width, the Hygienna nozzle can be easily carried in your pocket, purse, brief case or book bag.
The most important feature is the angle of the nozzle, which is designed to provide a direct flow of water to the desired wash area.
The shower-head nozzle produces a gentle stream of water that is more effective than using toilet paper alone.
Hygienna Inc. is a Canadian personal hygiene company with a reputation for design innovation and function. Our first product is the "Hygienna Solo", which is a discreet nozzle that transforms regular water bottles into a personal and portable hygiene device.
Our Job: to help people solve a common problem with a simple and cheap solution
Our job is to provide a convenient and time-saving alternative to the exclusive use of toilet paper, cumbersome or expensive bidets, a watering canteen or showering after using the toilet.
Our Customers: people who want a superior cleaning experience without the stress
Too many people are not satisfied with the level of cleaning provided by the exclusive use of toilet paper after using the toilet.
This group includes people observing religious customs, frequent travellers, women, queer folks, outdoor enthusiasts, elders, and those with health-related issues.
Can you imagine washing your body with only toilet paper? Have you thought about why we tend to only “wipe” and not clean our most sensitive areas after using the toilet?
For centuries, water has proven to be the most commonly used method to wash ourselves. As a result, many cultures in Asia and the Middle East have been using watering vessels to clean themselves after elimination. In fact, today bidets are also commonly found throughout the world in countries such as Korea, Japan, India, Saudi Arabia, Brazil and Colombia. However, most North Americans have never seen or used a bidet.
Today the culture is shifting. Health and hygiene are becoming important factors for people around the world and modern bidet solutions that easily fit onto existing toilets are available at reasonable costs starting at $200. With a growing personal hygiene culture and global trend of mobility, more and more people want to achieve cleanliness outside the home, and portable bidets enable busy people to maintain their personal cleanliness throughout the day.
